About Us

After opening in 1987 as one of the first restaurants in Canfield, the Janos Family Restaurant turned the reigns over to Thano’s in 2007. Blessed with overwhelming support in Canfield, Thano’s Family Restaurant opened a second location in Barberton in 2009. This location, in addition to featuring all the favorite entrees, allows for larger functions in a private party room.

lived in Barberton all my life and this place blows away the chicken houses, better fish fry and burgers, huge menu including hummus and grape leaves, hope they can make a living in this town

Urban Spoon

have gone to Thanos many times. The service is fast and the food is very good. They have the best burgers and their breakfasts come out fast and hot. It is a laid back atmosphere and very friendly. If you enjoy homemade meals they also have daily specials. Definitely thumbs up!
